THE TRAINING IS FOR YOU, IF
you are responsible for projects, programs or initiatives and want to design those in a customer-oriented, meaningful and valuable way. You should know traditional project management and be curious about new tools and ways of thinking.WHAT IS THE TRAINING GOOD FOR?
This hands-on, 1-day course will give you a sound understanding of the Project Design Thinking method, key principles, and good practices. After the course you will be equipped with up to 23 project design thinking tools, and you will have learned how to use them in real-life projects (of medium complexity).WHY USE PROJECT DESIGN THINKING TOOLS?
The tools help you to combine agile management, design thinking and traditional project tools with ease. That way you can think through and map out new projects in depth. The thinking tools do not take away thinking from you, but they help you to ask important questions to the right people and thus to facilitate better decisions. If you skillfully use the thinking tools when initiating a new project, then you- identify all customers of the project,
- understand the individual perspectives and interests of customers,
- resolve possible conflicts of interest and agree on common project goals,
- figure out the most appropriate means for achieving these goals,
- gain clarity on scope, priorities, risks, and opportunities,
- find the project approach - be it agile or traditional or a combination thereof - that best suits the people involved and the outcome to be achieved.
ANY OTHER USE?
The thinking tools can be combined with the Project Canvas – they help to map out the results from an initial canvas workshop in-depth (if needed). However, the thinking tools can also be used entirely independently of the Project Canvas.WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
