The Project Canvas as well as all other tools invented by “Over the Fence” are released under Creative Commons license Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International. Anyone may use these tools for their own work or to support others in understanding, designing, and initiating new projects. This includes people who use the technology within their own companies or in a consulting capacity. Furthermore, the “Over the Fence” tools are open for building variations on the concept (e.g. by adapting and remixing the original tool).

Any use of the tools – whether the original or a variation of it – requires full identification and credit of the source of the work. The following text and link must be clearly visible and legible under every tool (i.e. the Project Canvas or any other tool used):
